What is the Relation Between History and Economics

“Those who will not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” Our past history has everything to do with our current economic condition!

That quote form George Santayana sends chills down my back. His quote ends with “. . . are doomed to repeat it” which we are witnessing in full 3D as we speak.  America is asleep at the wheel, and the leaders we have running our financial and economic oversights are headed for a cliff at full speed and we are all in the passenger seats.

We’re seeing the results of those who didn’t eat from that tree of knowledge.

Wasteful spending, irresponsible leadership, self interest, and partisan politics are just a few of the cancers eating away at the financial and economic fabric of America. It’s time we all woke up!

Everybody wants to blame somebody. Decocrats what to blame Bush, while Republicans want to blame Clinton. It’s all one big blame game with fingers pointing every direction. Everyone needs to measure their individual greed level and make changes in the way they spend, save, and use credit.
